Compatibility

MONOGEAR is compatible with elastomeric seals.

Instructions for use

Follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the equipment part to be lubricated.

Notes

For best results, it is highly recommended to use PROLAB's DE-25 decontaminant before applying a new lubricant. (Refer to the DE-25 product data sheet)

MONOGEAR may be incompatible with yellow metals (brass, copper, etc.), depending on operating temperatures. Do not hesitate to consult your PROLAB representative.

Description

MONOGEAR is a synthetic EP gear oil whose unique formula, based on PAO and PROLAB's antifriction treatment, provides exceptional properties that allow it to outperform similar products.

Characteristics and benefits

MONOGEAR synthetic gear oil has an innovative formula featuring antifriction treatment and high-quality adhesive polymers, providing increased longevity and unparalleled reliability under heavy loads and extremely severe conditions.

MONOGEAR protects gears against wear caused by friction by coating the metallic surfaces of gears, bearings, and the casing with a lubricating film. This ensures full power transmission, smooth operation, and high efficiency at startup, while the adhesive polymers accelerate the lubricant's progression through the gears.

MONOGEAR's PAO-based synthetic formulation provides superior anti-foaming properties and offers maximum protection against degradation and corrosion. It is available in 5 ISO grades: 150, 220, 320, 460, and 680.
