Prolab is driven by research and development

R&D is simply fundamental for Prolab. Since its inception, the company has invested heavily in research to meet the growing need for products that are high-performance, affordable, and environmentally friendly.

Prolab's philosophy is to offer the best possible cost/benefit ratio. Prolab's researchers are constantly working to create products that improve equipment performance while reducing overall operating costs.

We can identify three major cycles in the main challenges posed to Prolab's R&D teams concerning future products.

Prolab is driven by research and development
1993 +

BIODEGRADABLE LUBRICANTS

The primary objective was to create the highest performing biodegradable lubricants. This challenge has been met. The main principles are established, and product development is underway.

1996 +

INDUSTRIALIZATION

It was necessary to move from theory to practice. The second R&D cycle consisted of identifying easily accessible bases in sufficient quantity to ensure constant industrial production. While maintaining their laboratory performance, the challenge was then to manufacture the products at a competitive price.

Once again, the R&D team accomplished its mission. Several products have already reached the industrial manufacturing stage, and the development of new products is progressing at an accelerated pace.

EXPANSION

While continuing to improve current products, the R&D teams are already at work to expand the range of biodegradable products and to create new value-added products.

Henceforth, the keywords for research are: performance, environment and added value.

Always more active, R&D at Prolab is the cornerstone of our development and of our customers' satisfaction, both industrial and general public.
